It's super expensive and super greedy, the whole thing is just AI slop as well, i found a much better one called geniecheats.com which is half the price and their free plan is much better than wembeans
Developer reply (Incarnae) · Oct 19, 2026
We’ve noticed a pattern of suspicious 1-star reviews that we believe may be coming from competing services attempting to damage our reputation. These reviews do not appear to reflect genuine user experiences.
We welcome honest feedback and are always happy to resolve real issues. We encourage everyone to try StudyOutlaws for themselves and form their own opinion rather than rely on potentially misleading reviews.

(and how do i get credits)
(it only works on the new words/wrong words)
Developer reply (Incarnae) · May 12, 2026
hey, I understand you may be experiencing some difficulty understanding how our extension works, we run on a credit system- if you open up the chrome extension it will tell you how many tasks (questions) you have left. If you are out of tasks the highlight will not work. In this case we recommend you to checking out our website to unlock more credits or even automate it through our website. Have a great day!

the quiz function did not work. I was relying on it for a quiz last friday and nothing happened and it is really confusing to use, it also just constantly asks you to buy their ultimate plan, every 5 seconds there is a popup. really annoying.
Developer reply (Incarnae) · Mar 24, 2026
The quiz feature should be working and is only included in the Ultimate plan (not the free plan), and we’re not aware of any issues with it not functioning; sorry for the frustration, especially before your quiz—please create a ticket on our Discord or website and we can help you further.

the service goes down a lot which is really annoying when I need to do it in the last few hours of Sunday when it's due. and the discord support takes days to respond and by then it's too late...
Developer reply (Incarnae) · Mar 24, 2026
Sorry about the frustration, that’s understandable, especially with tight deadlines. We did recently experience some outages due to our domain provider temporarily locking our website. We’ve since moved to a new provider, and this issue should not happen again. We also try to respond as quickly as possible whenever a ticket is submitted; if you’re still experiencing issues, please create a ticket on our Discord or website so we can assist you further.

Not sure if I'm missing something but when I installed it and made an account, it just didn't work right off the bat. I clicked the discord support button but just took me to the top of the page, seems like a pretty low quality website, will not be using again.
Developer reply (Incarnae) · Mar 24, 2026
The extension should work right after setup, so this isn’t expected. It also sounds like the Discord button didn’t redirect properly, which shouldn’t happen. Please try accessing our Discord or website directly and create a ticket so we can help.

Mar 19, 2026 · v9.3.6
Our teacher just turned on some sort of anti-extension feature and it won't let me practice with the extension enabled, on the wembean website, it says it is "undetectable". Landed me a 0 for the week and a call to my parents just for one membean session. would not recommend, false advertising.
Developer reply (Incarnae) · Mar 25, 2026
This isn’t accurate- the only feature currently affected by extension detection is quizzes, and we use a separate method for that rather than relying on the Chrome extension. The extension itself should still function normally, though platform restrictions can still impact behavior. If you’re having issues, please create a ticket on our Discord or website and we can help.

Developer reply (Incarnae) · Mar 25, 2026
It should continue working consistently, so this isn’t expected behavior. If it stopped working after a couple weeks, there may be an issue specific to your setup—please create a ticket on our Discord or website and we can help get it working again.

Developer reply (Incarnae) · Feb 24, 2026
Thanks so much for the support — really glad you’re enjoying Wembean! I’m not sure why the server-side auto solve is failing for you since we’re not seeing widespread issues, but feel free to reach out with more details and we will gladly look into it.

used to be a very reliable service, but since the update, it constantly has "connectivity issues" and with the increase in price, and a new 100 task cap per week, I dont see myself seeking the service unless improvements are made.
Developer reply (Incarnae) · Feb 17, 2026
We’re sorry for the connectivity issues after the update — those have now been resolved.
The 100-task weekly cap was introduced due to a significant increase in server usage, helping us maintain stability and support future improvements.
We appreciate your feedback and hope you’ll give us another try.

Great, but for some reason once I use it for 5 minutes, it deactivates saying I have to wait for next monday.
Developer reply (Incarnae) · Feb 17, 2026
Thanks for reaching out. For free users, there is a 15-task weekly limit, which can sometimes be reached fairly quickly depending on how the service is used. That’s likely why you’re seeing the message about waiting until Monday.
We appreciate your understanding as we manage usage to keep the service stable for everyone.

Absolutely love this extension but after the new update i feel like the extension got a little buggy(?) I HEAVILY rely on the "Stop timer" and "Disable Incorrect" now dont get me wrong, they DO work but sometimes it is very inconsistent, before the update it used to be instant with no problems but now it works sometimes and the times where it doesn't work and I have to refresh the page. Love this extension but wish this bug can go away (or try to make some bug fixes) idk maybe its just me
Developer reply (Incarnae) · Jan 22, 2026
Thanks for the feedback! The main bug that was causing instability has been fixed, and the updated version is now live on the web store.
Regarding the Stop Timer and Disable Incorrect features — we haven’t received reports of ongoing issues with those yet. If you’re still experiencing anything unusual, please submit a support ticket so we can look into it and fix it as soon as possible.
This update includes bug fixes that address most of the major issues, and we truly appreciate you bringing this to our attention!

Used to be top tier before everything became paid 😕
Developer reply (Incarnae) · Jan 20, 2026
We really appreciate you taking the time to share this feedback. When usage was fully free, our servers began to struggle under a very high volume of API requests, which made it difficult to keep the service reliable for everyone. Introducing paid plans was the best way for us to manage server load, cover infrastructure costs, and continue developing new features. We truly value our early users and hope you’ll consider giving the current version another try.

Fun while it lasted, got detected
Feedback:
Understand paying for extension, supports development, but 20 minutes wasn't nearly enough, 30 minutes would have been ideal
Extension sometimes buggy
Make the answers less obvious, like a setting to change the highlight to only a faint glow, same with the spelling ones. (Not why it got detected but I feel it would be useful)
Developer reply (Incarnae) · Jan 17, 2026
Thanks for the feedback! We’re limiting usage for free users to significantly reduce the load on our servers, and we’ll be majorly increasing the daily task limits for Pro users.
Thanks as well for the suggestion — we’ll definitely consider it in our upcoming updates.
Also, could you clarify what you mean by “detected”? In all of our testing it hasn’t been detected, so we’d love to look into this further and help.
